COME OUT TODAY 11am-1pm!!

Join us on Friday, August 28 for a Pit Beef Fundraiser benefitting the Easton Police Department's Toy Drive! Food will be served fresh off the grill, from 11am-1pm at the Easton VFW Post 5118 located at 355 Glebe Rd.

For only $12 you get a delicious Pit Beef or Pit Turkey Sandwich cooked by Catering By Jamie along with chips and a cold drink. All proceeds will go to the EPD Toy Drive, which serves to ensure underprivileged local youths are able to receive presents under their tree this holiday season.

EPD will also have their mobile donation station on site, so feel free to get in the holiday spirit early and bring some new (in-package) toys for our local youth and their families to unwrap later this year.

Please use caution in school zones, and be sure to carefully follow any directions from our crossing guards!

🍎✏️ NEW SCHOOL YEAR, NEW TRAFFIC PATTERNS 🚌 👮‍♀️
Starting today (8/24), students in Easton head back to school which means a change in traffic patterns around town. Please be aware that there will be delays during pick-up and drop-off with students crossing streets and walking to their destinations.

Crossing guards will be posted at the following locations to help students safely travel to and from school:

Easton Middle School (Peachblossom Rd.)
Dutchman’s Lane @ Mecklenberg Ave.
Five Corners
Dutchman’s Lane @ Aurora St.
Easton Elementary (Glenwood Ave.)

Please use caution when traveling in these areas, and follow instructions given by our crossing guards. We thank you for your patience, and wish the best to our local youth on their new school year!

TAKE THE COMPLETE STREETS SURVEY
The Town of Easton has launched a new interactive Complete Streets webpage, and one of the most important ways to get involved is by taking the Transportation and Safety Complete Streets Survey.

The survey gives residents and visitors a chance to share their experiences and ideas regarding Easton’s streets, sidewalks, bike routes, crossings, and other transportation infrastructure.

Your feedback will be valuable in helping to identify what’s working, where improvements are needed, and what should be prioritized as the Complete Streets project moves forward.

Welcome to the Easton - MD Police Department team, Karen!

We're thrilled to announce the hiring of Karen Jones, our new Records Clerk!

As our new Records Clerk, Karen will be responsible for the maintenance and retention of all records maintained in the records room as required by department rules & regulations, as well as federal, state, and local laws.

When asked about her new role, she said, "I'm ready for this new opportunity and to bring my experience to Easton Police Department!"
