A very special thank you to all mutual aid companies that responded to the 2nd alarm structure fire today. Your assistance was greatly appreciated. Wilson Borough Firefighters IAFF Local 1914, Hecktown Volunteer Fire Company, Lower Saucon Fire Rescue, Palmer Municipal Fire Department, Bethlehem Twsp Volunteer Fire Company,Nancy Run Fire Company, Palisades Regional Fire Rescue, FRCC, Easton EMS, and Dewey Fire Company EMS

Always glad to help out our mutual aid departments

On May 19, at 1738 hours, Bethlehem Township Volunteer Fire Company and Nancy Run Fire Company responded to the area of RT33 South MM1.1 for a reported tractor trailer rollover with fire. Upon arrival, NRFC Chief Buskirk updated the location and requested Lower Saucon Fire Rescue and Fast Lane Towing & Transport to provide support with a rotator truck. Due to the heat, additional crews were requested for manpower and water supply from Palmer Municipal Fire Department, Williams Township Fire Company #1, and Hecktown Volunteer Fire Co. #1.

There were no Firefighter injuries.

We will have breakfast sandwiches, coffee, soda, and hot dogs available for sale at the food pavilion.

We would like to send out a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone that came out and supported us this past weekend.

Our 5th annual Food Truck and Craft Vendor event was a great success. Even though the weather didn't cooperate with us on Saturday, we were still able to have it on Sunday.

We had over 345 regular prizes, and 24 "special" prizes. Plus a lottery basket and 50/50. We even had WFMZ 69 NEWS stop by and do a few minute segment about it and General George Washington for some US history.

Thank you to all the people and businesses that donated filled baskets, gift cards, large and small items, and your time, it is GREATLY APPRECIATED!!

We would also like to thank all the vendors and food trucks for coming out and showcasing and selling their items and food. Hopefully everyone did well and hope to see you all next year.

Lastly we would like thank Beth Beisel, our organizer/whip cracker. If it wasn't for her putting in countless hours writing the donation letters, sending out the paperwork to the food trucks and vendors, keeping everything organized, and most importantly keeping all of us moving along and "cracking the whip" to make sure it gets done, this event wouldn't go as smoothly as it does.

Today is event day, come on out from 11-7 for food trucks, vendors and tricky tray.

Tricky Tray will run from 11-5, with the drawing of prizes to start at 6pm. You do not need to be present to win. All winners will be contacted on Monday.

Come on out today and get your tricky tray on !! We are here from 10-5 today selling tickets. Tickets are 4 SHEETS for $20. Drawing will be Sunday at 6pm.

Food trucks and vendors will be here tomorrow from 11-7.

General George Washington will be here today inside our engine bay, from 12-3, talking about the history of America and photo ops. Stop out and give a listen.
