The reopening of the 1753 Bachmann Publick House is getting closer, and behind the scenes our team is continuing to add imersive touches to the new visitor experience!
This week included the highly important task of “quality testing” a few new colonial-era accessories & clothing pieces that will soon be staged throughout the 1753 Bachmann Publick House. While there may have been a little fun involved, these details play an important role in helping us create immersive historic spaces that feel lived in, engaging, and authentic to the period.
From exhibit installation to room staging, every piece helps tell the story of Northampton County in new ways ahead of reopening this July. Stay tuned for more behind-the-scenes updates as the countdown continues!
