Now seeking applicants! We are in need of Firefighters and/or First Responders (EMR). We prefer that applicants live or work within 8 miles of Easton.

*Must be 18 years or older.
*Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
*Must have a valid Class D (or higher) driver's license.
*Must live or work within 8 miles of Easton (may make exceptions).
*Roughly 5 hours of training/meetings per month.
*Retirement pension based on years of service.

****Alert**** The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for our area that has already started at noon today and will run throughout tomorrow April 22nd until 8:00PM. Winds could gust up to 35 MPH and the humidity is low which means fires can spread rapidly.

If you have a fire currently going with your burn permit - please discontinue adding to it so that it dies down. Properly smother or douse with water if possible so that the fire does not spread! And please wait to burn anything else until another day!

A red-flag warning has been issued in Faribault County so we will be issuing a BURN BAN for today, April 20th, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. No burning allowed in that time frame!!

Due to wind gusts up to 45 MPH, warmer temperatures (near 60 for Saturday), and relatively low humidity (around 15%) any fires that develop will spread rapidly. Therefore, Faribault County has issued a Burn Ban which will be in effect 10:00AM until 9:00PM Saturday, March 28th, 2026.
