Are you thinking of writing an honors thesis, but have questions about the process?

Tomorrow on April 9 at 12:20 PM in Gendebien (206 Skillman) you’ll hear from Bella Crapanzano (History/Music), Rachel Kimball (Psychology), and Vanika Sok (Economics) as they share their thesis experience, from identifying an advisor to choosing a topic to the challenges of engaging in a year-long project.

Lunch will be provided ✨

The Course Affordability Grant Panel is TODAY from 12:15–1:15 PM in the Gendebien Room (206).

Professors Adam Biener, Gabbi Kelenyi, Farhan Abedin, and Justin Corvino will speak about the challenges and successes of identifying and adopting alternative resources with the goal of minimizing financial burdens for students and promoting equity in the classroom.

The four faculty members who have recently received a Course Affordability Initiative grant, offered through the Libraries, are interested in making the transition to free or lower-cost course materials.

Q&A to follow; lunch will be provided.

Her debut book “THE MILKY WAY: An Autobiography of Our Galaxy,” was released in 2022 to critical acclaim and was named one of Publishers Weekly’s best books of 2022.

February 18 at 4:30 PM in Hugel 103.

A Q&A will follow the lecture.
