Thanks to everyone who visited our table at Saturday's Talbot County Resource Fair. We were able to help those who have recently moved to update their registration information. We also provided voter registration forms, and the dates of next year's elections. Many took part in our "Maryland Favorites Demonstration Election" straw poll. See the full results below. 45% chose a paper ballot, while 55% used the ballot marking device, to mark their choices. One newly registered voter thanked us for showing them how easy the actual voting process is in Maryland and several noted this was their very first time to use the ballot marking device.
