**ALL INVIDIVIDUALS ARE INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY**
Rogue and Vagabond: On April 14, 2026, Officers of the Easton Police Department apprehended a 15-year-old Talbot County resident for entering vehicles. The juvenile was referred to the Department of Juvenile Services and released to a parent.
On April 14, 2026, at approximately 9:50 am, Officers of the Easton Police Department were dispatched to the area of Superior Circle in Easton, MD, in reference to person witnessing a subject entering several vehicles. Upon Officers arrival, they met with a person matching the description given by the witness and identified that person as a teen. Surveillance video was obtained in the area, which captured the teen entering vehicles.
We would like to remind citizens to lock their vehicles and do not leave any valuables in their vehicles.
Possession- Not Cannabis: On April 12, 2026, Officers of the Easton Police Department were dispatched to 219 South Washington Street, Easton, MD, to assist the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with a Deputy who was serving a Circuit Court warrant on Ms. Kelli S. Jester (50) of Greensboro, MD. As the Deputy was searching Jester’s belongings due to search incident to an arrest, they located suspected Co***ne and drug paraphernalia. Easton Officers took possession of the contraband and released Jester with Criminal Citations. QASO Deputies then transported Jester to the Queen Anne’s County Detention Center.
Assault 1st Degree: On April 9, 2026, Officers of the Easton Police Department arrested Mr. Justin Quinones (24) of East New Market, MD, on an arrest warrant charging him with 1st and 2nd Degree Assault, and Reckless Endangerment. Quinones was later released to the custody of to the Talbot County Detention Center.
These charges stem from an incident which took place on January 10, 2026, where the victim was allegedly assaulted by Quinones in the 29000 block of Dutchman’s Lane, Easton, MD. An arrest warrant was obtained for Quinones, who turned himself into the Easton Police Department.
Threat of Mass Violence: On April 1, 2026, Officers of the Easton Police Department served an active Talbot County District Court Arrest Warrant on Mr. Jermaine A. Patton (47) of Glen Burnie, MD. The arrest warrant charges Patton with Threat of Mass Violence. Patton was later transported to the Talbot County Detention Center for booking prior to his initial appearance with a District Court Commissioner.
On March 18, 2026, the Easton Police Department was dispatched to the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center of Easton in reference to an individual that called and made a threat of mass violence. The caller threatened to “blow the place down with everyone in it.” Through investigation, the caller was identified as Patton. The Easton Police Department would like to thank the Anne Arundel County Police Department for their assistance.
CDS Possession– Paraphernalia: On April 1, 2026, Officers of the Easton Police Department were dispatched to a residence on South West Street, Easton, MD, in reference to an unwanted subject. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with the unwanted person, identified as Ms. Brittany D. Lee (33) of Marydel, MD. A warrant check was completed for Lee which revealed Lee was wanted through Caroline County for Violation of Probation. A search of Lee’s person revealed a glass smoking device used to smoke Crack Co***ne. Lee was later released to the custody of to the Talbot County Detention Center.
Illegal Dumping/Littering: On March 6, 2026, Officers were dispatched to Two Pair Collectibles, located at 8223 Elliott Road, Easton, MD, in reference to a complaint of illegal dumping. A male subject was observed on surveillance footage discarding a mattress in the dumpster belonging to the business. This caused the business to have to pay a fine due to the large item that was picked up by their trash collection company.
On March 30, 2026, the suspect in this incident was located and identified as Mr. William R. Ganley 3rd (39) of Greensboro, MD. Ganley was issued a Uniform Criminal Citation for Illegal Dumping and released.
Theft less than $1500: On March 30, 2026, Officers were dispatched to Wal-Mart located at 8155 Elliott Road, Easton, MD, in reference to a theft in progress. Officers arrived on scene and made contact with Wal-Mart Loss Prevention staff that had stopped the suspect out front of the store, past all points of sale. The suspect was identified as Mr. Dellroy L. Green (60) of Queenstown, MD. Green was in possession of approximately $200.00 of merchandise from Wal-Mart that he had not paid for. Green was issued a Uniform Criminal Citation for Theft Less Than $1,500.00 and released.
Disorderly Conduct: On March 18, 2026, Officers of the Easton Police Department were patrolling the area of Lowe’s and observed a subject operating a vehicle that the officer knew had an active Talbot County District Court Arrest Warrant associated with it. Upon making contact with the subject identified as Mr. William G. Johnson (72) of Hurlock, MD, Officers explained to Johnson that he had an active arrest warrant. Johnson then began yelling and acting in a disorderly manner despite the Officer asking Johnson to stop yelling multiple times. Johnson’s disorderly manner began drawing the attention of numerous patrons in the area. Johnson was taken into police custody for the active arrest warrant where he was later transported to the Talbot County Detention Center for booking prior to his initial appearance with a District Court Commissioner. Johnson was also issued a Criminal Citation for Disorderly Conduct.
Malicious Destruction of Property: On March 16, 2026, at approximately 2:55 am, Officers of the Easton Police Department responded to the Best Western Plus, located at 8708 Alicia Drive, Easton, MD, in reference to an unwanted subject. Upon arrival, Officers met with the complainant who advised he is an employee of the hotel. The Complainant advised that a male guest who was later identified as Mr. Brady N. Pearce, (37) of Fredericksburg, Virginia, had been causing a disturbance in a room. The complainant advised that Pearce had been staying in the room since approximately March 13, 2026, and each night Pearce can be heard screaming and destroying items in the room. The complainant advised that on March 16 at approximately 2:30 am, neighbors made contact with the front desk and advised that Pearce was still screaming and moving items inside of the room. The complainant advised that he would like Pearce removed from the property.
Officers responded to Pearce’s room. Officers knocked on the door several times and received no answer. Pearce finally opened the door after several minutes of knocking. Officers observed that Pearce had the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from his breath and person. Pearce appeared confused as to why Officers were there. Officers advised Pearce that the Best Western was trespassing him from their hotel, and he would have to leave. Pearce acknowledged the hotel's request and began to pack up his things. Officers observed that the hotel room was in complete disarray with trash and other items, all across the room. A room phone was destroyed, a smoke detector was ripped off of the ceiling and broken in half; the refrigerator door had several dents in it, and the television was damaged. Officers observed scrapes on Pearce's hands and a bruise on his head. Once Pearce had collected his belongings, he exited the room and went to the downstairs lobby. Officers completed a criminal citation for Malicious Destruction of Property less than $1000 to be issued to Pearce. Pearce refused to sign the citation. Pearce was placed under arrest for Malicious Destruction of Property and turned over to Talbot County Detention Center.
Driving Under the Influence: On March 14, 2026, at approximately 7:37 pm, Officers of the Easton Police Department responded to the area of 8 S. Aurora Street, Easton, MD, in reference to a motor vehicle collision.
Upon arrival, Officers observed a black Honda Accord with heavy front-end damage, in the middle of the roadway. Officers observed a blue Toyota Corolla with damage to the driver side of the vehicle that was parked and unoccupied on the side of South Aurora Street. Officers observed that the Toyota had been pushed into a gray Subaru. The Subaru also appeared to be parked and unoccupied. Officers made contact with the driver of the Honda who was identified as Mr. Wilmer Cruz Fuentes (27) of Easton, MD. Officers detected the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the breath of Cruz. Cruz appeared to be slow in speech and had glassy bloodshot eyes. Cruz appeared to have trouble balancing and had disheveled clothing. Officers made contact with a male subject who was a passenger in the Honda that was driven by Cruz. After making numerous observations of possible intoxication by Cruz, Officers believed he had operated the Honda while under the influence of alcohol. Officers arrested Cruz for Driving Under the Influence. Cruz was issued Citations for Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, Driving While Impaired by Alcohol, driving without a license, reckless driving, negligent driving, and failure to control speed to avoid a collision.
Theft less than $100: On February 27, 2026, Officers were dispatched to Giant Food located at 8223 Elliott Road Easton, MD, in reference to a past theft. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with Loss Prevention. Loss Prevention advised an employee notified him about a female walking out with unpaid merchandise. Loss Prevention provided surveillance footage, which Officers reviewed. Officers observed a female take beer and wine and the subject walk out of the store, passing all points of sales.
On March 5, 2026, Officers were advised by the Talbot County Sheriff Office they had someone with a similar description regarding this case at the Sheriff’s Office. Officers responded to the Talbot County Sheriff Office and made contact with Ms. Kylaisa A. Cannon (19) of Cambridge, MD. Officers confirmed Cannon as the person who had stolen items and Officers issued Cannon a criminal citation.
