**ALL INVIDIVIDUALS ARE INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY**

Assault 1st Degree: On May 5, 2026, Officers of the Easton Police Department were dispatched to the area of Village Street, Easton, MD for a subject with a gun. Upon arrival, Officer’s made contact with the reporting party, who advised an African-American male, who was later identified as Mr. Kirk H. Hynson (63) of Easton, MD, pointed a gun at him. The reporting party was able to provide a photo of Hynson. Officers made contact with Hynson at his residence. Officers later located a firearm, that matched the description that the victim gave, in Hynson residence. Hynson was arrested and transported to the Talbot County Detention Center.

False Statement: On May 4, 2026, Officers of the Easton Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a black Nissan Rogue traveling northbound on Easton Parkway between Peachblossom Road and Port Street after stationary radar indicated the vehicle was traveling 67 mph in a posted 50 mph zone. Upon contact, the driver initially identified himself as Jose Rodriguez but was unable to provide a valid driver’s license. A records check revealed no matching license or identification, prompting further investigation. After inconsistencies were discovered, including documents found in his possession bearing a different name, the driver later admitted his true identity as Mr. Jesus Alvarez-Rubio (24) of Cambridge, MD.
During the stop, a K9 unit from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office responded and conducted a scan of the vehicle, resulting in a positive alert. A subsequent search of the vehicle yielded identifying documents but no contraband. Alvarez-Rubio was placed under arrest and charged with Obstructing and Hindering and providing a False Statement to a Police Officer. He was transported to the Talbot County Detention Center.

Assault 2nd Degree: On May 2, 2026, Officers of the Easton Police Department responded to a residence for a 911 hang-up call, with yelling heard in the background. Upon arrival, Officers observed a verbal altercation inside the residence involving Mr. Lequan Savage (32) of Easton, MD, and two other individuals. Despite Officers announcing their presence, the disturbance continued until entry was granted. During attempts to separate the individuals, Savage who appeared highly agitated, made unwanted physical contact on an Officer and was subsequently detained.
Further investigation revealed that prior to Police arrival, Savage armed himself with a large kitchen knife and threatened to kill one of the individuals during the altercation. The knife was recovered from beneath a couch, where it had been concealed as Officers approached. Both individuals on scene appeared visibly shaken and fearful. Savage was placed under arrest and charged accordingly. A search incident to arrest yielded a glass smoking device containing burnt residue, consistent with drug paraphernalia. Savage was transported to the Talbot County Detention Center.

Assault 1st Degree: On April 30, 2026, Officers of the Easton Police Department arrested Mr. Thomas J. Linthurst (39) of Hurlock, MD, on an arrest warrant charging him with Assault 1st and 2nd Degree, and Reckless Endangerment. Linthurst was later released to the custody of the Talbot County Detention Center.
On February 26, 2026, Officers were dispatched to the Easton Volunteer Fire Department in reference to an assault that had occurred. The victim of the assault later filed for charges against Linthurst.

Theft $100 - $1,500: On April 29, 2026, Officers of the Easton Police Department served an active Talbot County District Court Arrest Warrant on Mr. William H. Fleetwood (37) of Easton, MD. Fleetwood was taken into police custody without incident. Fleetwood was charged with one count of Theft $100 - $1,500. Charging Documents revealed that on January 4, 2026, Officers of the Easton Police Department responded to Giant located at 8223 Elliott Road, Easton, MD in reference to a theft. Throughout investigation, Fleetwood was identified as the suspect who had stolen Giant merchandise. Fleetwood was later released to the custody of the Talbot County Detention Center.

Theft $100 - $1,500: On April 27, 2026, Officers of the Easton Police Department were dispatched to the Giant located at 8223 Elliott Road, Easton, MD, in reference to an altercation. Upon arrival, Officers met with Loss Prevention staff who stated they had attempted to stop a female exiting the store who had unpaid merchandise and passed all points of sale. Loss prevention staff maintained a visual of the female and directed responding Officers to her. The female was identified as Ms. Carina M. Singh (41) of Chico, California. The total price of stolen merchandise was $774.79. Singh was issued a Uniform Criminal Citation for Theft: $100 to under $1,500 and was released.

Violation of Protective Order: On April 24, 2026, Officers of the Easton Police Department arrested Mr. David Yeatman (33) of Easton, MD, for violating an active Protective Order. Officers responded after speaking with the victim, who reported that Yeatman had contacted them via text message in violation of the terms of a Protective Order. Following an investigation, Officers located Yeatman at his residence and took him into custody without incident. Yeatman was later transported to the Talbot County Detention Center.

Reckless Driving: On April 23, 2026, Officers of the Easton Police Department served a criminal summons on Mr. Bushra M. Ibrahim (73) of Salisbury, MD, charging him with the following: Reckless and Negligent driving, Driving Vehicle in Excess of Reasonable and Prudent Speed, Failure to Avoid a Collision, Driving Vehicle on Highway at Speeds Exceeding the Limit. Ibrahim was released after signing all paperwork.
On December 3, 2025, Officers were dispatched to Ocean Gateway and Chapel Road in reference to a motor vehicle collision. Upon arrival, the driver of a Town of Easton vehicle and Ibrahim, were being treated for injuries. Maryland State Police Trooper 6 then transported both Ibrahim and the driver of another vehicle to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.
With the assistance of the Maryland State Police Crash Team, investigators learned that Ibrahim had lost control of his vehicle and struck a Town of Easton vehicle, who was in the westbound left turn lane of Ocean Gateway. The Town of Easton vehicle then struck a vehicle that was in front of it, who was also in the turn lane. Ibrahim’s vehicle came to a rest in the field at the intersection of Chapel Road and Ocean Gateway.

Assault 2nd Degree: On April 13, 2026, Officers of the Easton Police Department responded to Lauren Lane, Easton, MD, in reference to an assault. Upon speaking with witnesses, Officers obtained enough evidence that was consistent with an assault, to arrest Mr. Gerald Hurst (80) of Easton, MD, for Assault 2nd Degree and False Imprisonment. Hurst was later released to the custody of the Talbot County Detention Center.

Assault 2nd Degree: On April 4, 2026, Officers of the Easton Police Department, responded to the 600 block of Dover Road, Easton, in reference to an assault. Officers arrived on scene and observed Mr. Larmonte D. Nixon (45) of Easton, screaming in the parking lot, drawing the attention of numerous individuals. After speaking with a female victim, who stated Nixon had assaulted her, Nixon was placed under arrest. While attempting to place Nixon in a patrol vehicle, Nixon kicked an Officer, as well as attempted to bite the Officer. Nixon was later released to the custody of the Talbot County Detention Center.

Resist/Interfere with Arrest: On April 3, 2026, Officers of the Easton Police Department arrested Ms. Elizabeth Miller (28) of Easton, MD, for the report of Failure to Obey a Lawful Order, and Resisting/Interfering with Arrest. These charges stem from a traffic stop for an equipment violation. The driver became irate and would not comply with lawful orders. Miller was placed under arrest and later released to the Talbot County Detention Center.

**ALL INVIDIVIDUALS ARE INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY**

Home Invasion: On April 7, 2026, Detectives of the Easton Police Department arrested Mr. Fraine A. Rosendiz Vasquez (29) of Hyattsville, MD, and Mr. Yhonayker J. Torres Ascanio (21) of Silver Spring, MD, on arrest warrants. The arrest warrants charges them with Home Invasion, Burglary 1st Degree, Armed Robbery, Firearm use in a Violent Crime, Theft, Assault 1st Degree, and Reckless Endangerment. Rosendiz was later released to the Talbot County Detention Center and Torres is pending extradition from Ohio.
On February 11, 2026, Officers of the Easton Police Department met with a person who informed them that while at their residence in the 28000 block of Outram Street, Easton, MD, he was awoken by two masked men with fi****ms. The victim told Officers that one of the suspects told him to lay on the ground and the victim complied. The victim advised that the suspects then tied him up using the cord from a desk lamp and strings from a drawstring backpack. The suspects then obtained the victim’s electronics and jewelry. After the suspects fled, the victim was able to exit the residence and seek help.
Detectives were assigned to investigate and were able to find a vehicle the suspects had used. Detectives were able to track the vehicle, as it came from the western shore. Through a thorough investigation, Detectives were able to connect Rosendiz and Torres to the crime.
On April 7, 2026, Detectives of the Easton Police Department with the assistance to the Prince George’s County Police Department Special Assignment Team and the Emergency Service Team, executed a search and seizure warrant at the residence of Rosendiz in Hyattsville. Rosendiz was taken into custody without incident. Simultaneously, Detectives of the Easton Police Department with the assistance of the Baltimore City Police Department SWAT, executed a search and seizure warrant in the 1900 block of West Lanvale Street, Baltimore, MD. Once the search and seizure warrants were completed, Detectives executed a search and seizure warrant at a residence in Silver Spring, MD, with the assistance of the Montgomery County Police Department. Evidence was recovered at these residences connecting these individuals to the crime.
On April 16, 2026, members of the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) located and arrested Torres hiding in a residence in Marion, Ohio. Torres is currently awaiting extradition from the state of Ohio.

Easton Police Department is proud to join agencies across the state for the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Maryland. This event helps support Special Olympics athletes in advance of the Special Olympics MD.

The 2026 Special Olympics Torch Run - Talbot County Leg will take place on Tuesday, June 16th at 10 am, beginning in front of our police department at 106 W Dover Street. We will be running and walking through the downtown Easton area alongside our regional athletes.

**ALL INVIDIVIDUALS ARE INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY**

Driving Under the Influence: On April 19, 2026, Officers of the Easton Police Department arrested Ms. Vicki L. Norris-Hauler (49) of Easton, MD, and charged her with Driving Under the Influence. Norris-Hauler was released after signing for the citation.
On April 19, 2026, at approximately 5:30 pm, Officers stopped a vehicle driven by Norris-Hauler for not coming to a complete stop at a stop sign. After Officers made contact with Norris-Hauler, Officers observed signs of possible intoxication. Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were conducted and due to the outcome, Norris-Hauler was charged.

Assault on Police: On April 17, 2026, at approximately 5:11 pm, Officers of the Easton Police Department responded to the Aldi Grocery Store (8147 Ocean Gateway) for a report of an unwanted person on the property. Officers located the subject in question at the U-5 Food Store across from Aldi. That person was identified as Ashley Broll (36) of Easton. During the interaction with Broll, she became disorderly and assaulted a Maryland State Police Trooper who was on scene assisting with the investigation. Broll was placed under arrest. Broll was transported to Talbot County Detention Center for processing. Once at the Detention Center, Broll continued her erratic behavior, and head-butted an Easton Police Officer in the chest. As a result of this incident, Broll was charged with Second Degree Assault on Law Enforcement (2 counts), Disorderly Conduct, and Causing a Public Disturbance while Intoxicated.

Stalking: On April 17, 2026, Officers of the Easton Police Department arrested Mr. Kejuan Pope (25) of Baltimore, MD, and was charged with Stalking, Placing an Intimate/Sex image on the Internet and Harassment. Pope was also charged giving a false statement. Pope was later released to the custody of the Talbot County Detention Center.
On April 17, 2026, Officers were dispatched to the area of Goldsborough Street in reference to harassment. Officers met with the complainant, who stated that they were a resident in the area, and Pope had shown up on the property unannounced and unwelcomed. The complainant stated that upon Pope seeing them inside a vehicle, Pope attempted to open the vehicle door and was irate. The complainant stated there was a pattern of behavior over the past several months, that included harassing phone calls/text messages, showing up unwelcomed at various locations the complainant was residing, making verbal threats to harm the complainant, and posting videos/photos of the complainant on various internet sites without their consent. Officers checked the area for Pope and later located him sitting inside of a vehicle parked in a parking lot on Turners Lane. Upon making contact with Pope, he provided a fictitious name. Pope was placed under arrest.

Threat of Mass Violence: On April 16, 20216, Officers of the Easton Police Department with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Capital Regional Fugitive Task Force (CARFTF), arrested Mr. Juwan O. Holmes (27) of Easton, MD, on an arrest warrant. The arrest warrant charges Homes with Threat of Mass Violence, Assault 2nd Degree and Malicious Destruction of Property- less than $1000. Holmes was also served with an arrest warrant out of Wicomico County that charges Holmes with 1st and 2nd Degree Assault, Reckless Endangerment, Disorderly Conduct and Affray. Holmes was later released to the custody of the Talbot County Detention Center.
On April 4, 2026, Officers of the Easton Police Department responded to the area of Hammond Street, Easton, in reference to an assault. Upon Officers arrival, they noticed blood and damage to a residence, consistent with an assault. After conducting an investigation, Officers learned Holmes assaulted someone at that residence.
On April 8, 2026, Officers of the Easton Police Department met with a complainant who informed them Holmes threaten to shoot up the house on Hammond Street. Due to the threat, Detectives initiated an investigation to locate Holmes and also requested the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Capital Regional Fugitive Task Force (CARFTF).

Stalking: On April 15, 2026, Officers of the Easton Police Department took a report for stalking and harassment. After interviewing the victim, the suspect was identified as Mr. David K. Hensley (45) of Easton, MD. Hensly is accused of following the victim to her residence and parking outside of her residence as well as sending illicit images of the victim to other subjects. An arrest warrant for Hensley was obtained, and he was later taken into Police custody without incident. Hensley was charged with one (1) count of stalking, one (1) count of Distributing Intimate/Sex Image and two (2) counts of Harassment – Course of Conduct. Hensly was later released to the custody of the Talbot County Detention Center.

Theft $1500-$25,000: On April 2, 2026, Officers of the Easton Police Department arrested Mr. Da’Jhon E. Macer (23) of Cambridge, MD, on an arrest warrant. The warrant charges Macer with Theft $1500-$25000, Forgery and Counterfeit- Private Documents, Issue a False Document and Issue a Counterfeit Order. A wanted check on Macer also revealed he had an arrest warrant through Caroline County. Macer was later released to the custody of the Talbot County Detention Center.
On June 6, 2026, Officers responded to a local bank and met with staff. Officers were informed that Macer had come to the bank and cashed a fraudulent check in the amount of $2,700.00.

**ALL INVIDIVIDUALS ARE INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY**

Rogue and Vagabond: On April 14, 2026, Officers of the Easton Police Department apprehended a 15-year-old Talbot County resident for entering vehicles. The juvenile was referred to the Department of Juvenile Services and released to a parent.
On April 14, 2026, at approximately 9:50 am, Officers of the Easton Police Department were dispatched to the area of Superior Circle in Easton, MD, in reference to person witnessing a subject entering several vehicles. Upon Officers arrival, they met with a person matching the description given by the witness and identified that person as a teen. Surveillance video was obtained in the area, which captured the teen entering vehicles.
We would like to remind citizens to lock their vehicles and do not leave any valuables in their vehicles.

Possession- Not Cannabis: On April 12, 2026, Officers of the Easton Police Department were dispatched to 219 South Washington Street, Easton, MD, to assist the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with a Deputy who was serving a Circuit Court warrant on Ms. Kelli S. Jester (50) of Greensboro, MD. As the Deputy was searching Jester’s belongings due to search incident to an arrest, they located suspected Co***ne and drug paraphernalia. Easton Officers took possession of the contraband and released Jester with Criminal Citations. QASO Deputies then transported Jester to the Queen Anne’s County Detention Center.

Assault 1st Degree: On April 9, 2026, Officers of the Easton Police Department arrested Mr. Justin Quinones (24) of East New Market, MD, on an arrest warrant charging him with 1st and 2nd Degree Assault, and Reckless Endangerment. Quinones was later released to the custody of to the Talbot County Detention Center.
These charges stem from an incident which took place on January 10, 2026, where the victim was allegedly assaulted by Quinones in the 29000 block of Dutchman’s Lane, Easton, MD. An arrest warrant was obtained for Quinones, who turned himself into the Easton Police Department.

Threat of Mass Violence: On April 1, 2026, Officers of the Easton Police Department served an active Talbot County District Court Arrest Warrant on Mr. Jermaine A. Patton (47) of Glen Burnie, MD. The arrest warrant charges Patton with Threat of Mass Violence. Patton was later transported to the Talbot County Detention Center for booking prior to his initial appearance with a District Court Commissioner.
On March 18, 2026, the Easton Police Department was dispatched to the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center of Easton in reference to an individual that called and made a threat of mass violence. The caller threatened to “blow the place down with everyone in it.” Through investigation, the caller was identified as Patton. The Easton Police Department would like to thank the Anne Arundel County Police Department for their assistance.

CDS Possession– Paraphernalia: On April 1, 2026, Officers of the Easton Police Department were dispatched to a residence on South West Street, Easton, MD, in reference to an unwanted subject. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with the unwanted person, identified as Ms. Brittany D. Lee (33) of Marydel, MD. A warrant check was completed for Lee which revealed Lee was wanted through Caroline County for Violation of Probation. A search of Lee’s person revealed a glass smoking device used to smoke Crack Co***ne. Lee was later released to the custody of to the Talbot County Detention Center.

Illegal Dumping/Littering: On March 6, 2026, Officers were dispatched to Two Pair Collectibles, located at 8223 Elliott Road, Easton, MD, in reference to a complaint of illegal dumping. A male subject was observed on surveillance footage discarding a mattress in the dumpster belonging to the business. This caused the business to have to pay a fine due to the large item that was picked up by their trash collection company.
On March 30, 2026, the suspect in this incident was located and identified as Mr. William R. Ganley 3rd (39) of Greensboro, MD. Ganley was issued a Uniform Criminal Citation for Illegal Dumping and released.

Theft less than $1500: On March 30, 2026, Officers were dispatched to Wal-Mart located at 8155 Elliott Road, Easton, MD, in reference to a theft in progress. Officers arrived on scene and made contact with Wal-Mart Loss Prevention staff that had stopped the suspect out front of the store, past all points of sale. The suspect was identified as Mr. Dellroy L. Green (60) of Queenstown, MD. Green was in possession of approximately $200.00 of merchandise from Wal-Mart that he had not paid for. Green was issued a Uniform Criminal Citation for Theft Less Than $1,500.00 and released.

Disorderly Conduct: On March 18, 2026, Officers of the Easton Police Department were patrolling the area of Lowe’s and observed a subject operating a vehicle that the officer knew had an active Talbot County District Court Arrest Warrant associated with it. Upon making contact with the subject identified as Mr. William G. Johnson (72) of Hurlock, MD, Officers explained to Johnson that he had an active arrest warrant. Johnson then began yelling and acting in a disorderly manner despite the Officer asking Johnson to stop yelling multiple times. Johnson’s disorderly manner began drawing the attention of numerous patrons in the area. Johnson was taken into police custody for the active arrest warrant where he was later transported to the Talbot County Detention Center for booking prior to his initial appearance with a District Court Commissioner. Johnson was also issued a Criminal Citation for Disorderly Conduct.

Malicious Destruction of Property: On March 16, 2026, at approximately 2:55 am, Officers of the Easton Police Department responded to the Best Western Plus, located at 8708 Alicia Drive, Easton, MD, in reference to an unwanted subject. Upon arrival, Officers met with the complainant who advised he is an employee of the hotel. The Complainant advised that a male guest who was later identified as Mr. Brady N. Pearce, (37) of Fredericksburg, Virginia, had been causing a disturbance in a room. The complainant advised that Pearce had been staying in the room since approximately March 13, 2026, and each night Pearce can be heard screaming and destroying items in the room. The complainant advised that on March 16 at approximately 2:30 am, neighbors made contact with the front desk and advised that Pearce was still screaming and moving items inside of the room. The complainant advised that he would like Pearce removed from the property.
Officers responded to Pearce’s room. Officers knocked on the door several times and received no answer. Pearce finally opened the door after several minutes of knocking. Officers observed that Pearce had the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from his breath and person. Pearce appeared confused as to why Officers were there. Officers advised Pearce that the Best Western was trespassing him from their hotel, and he would have to leave. Pearce acknowledged the hotel's request and began to pack up his things. Officers observed that the hotel room was in complete disarray with trash and other items, all across the room. A room phone was destroyed, a smoke detector was ripped off of the ceiling and broken in half; the refrigerator door had several dents in it, and the television was damaged. Officers observed scrapes on Pearce's hands and a bruise on his head. Once Pearce had collected his belongings, he exited the room and went to the downstairs lobby. Officers completed a criminal citation for Malicious Destruction of Property less than $1000 to be issued to Pearce. Pearce refused to sign the citation. Pearce was placed under arrest for Malicious Destruction of Property and turned over to Talbot County Detention Center.

Driving Under the Influence: On March 14, 2026, at approximately 7:37 pm, Officers of the Easton Police Department responded to the area of 8 S. Aurora Street, Easton, MD, in reference to a motor vehicle collision.
Upon arrival, Officers observed a black Honda Accord with heavy front-end damage, in the middle of the roadway. Officers observed a blue Toyota Corolla with damage to the driver side of the vehicle that was parked and unoccupied on the side of South Aurora Street. Officers observed that the Toyota had been pushed into a gray Subaru. The Subaru also appeared to be parked and unoccupied. Officers made contact with the driver of the Honda who was identified as Mr. Wilmer Cruz Fuentes (27) of Easton, MD. Officers detected the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the breath of Cruz. Cruz appeared to be slow in speech and had glassy bloodshot eyes. Cruz appeared to have trouble balancing and had disheveled clothing. Officers made contact with a male subject who was a passenger in the Honda that was driven by Cruz. After making numerous observations of possible intoxication by Cruz, Officers believed he had operated the Honda while under the influence of alcohol. Officers arrested Cruz for Driving Under the Influence. Cruz was issued Citations for Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, Driving While Impaired by Alcohol, driving without a license, reckless driving, negligent driving, and failure to control speed to avoid a collision.

Theft less than $100: On February 27, 2026, Officers were dispatched to Giant Food located at 8223 Elliott Road Easton, MD, in reference to a past theft. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with Loss Prevention. Loss Prevention advised an employee notified him about a female walking out with unpaid merchandise. Loss Prevention provided surveillance footage, which Officers reviewed. Officers observed a female take beer and wine and the subject walk out of the store, passing all points of sales.
On March 5, 2026, Officers were advised by the Talbot County Sheriff Office they had someone with a similar description regarding this case at the Sheriff’s Office. Officers responded to the Talbot County Sheriff Office and made contact with Ms. Kylaisa A. Cannon (19) of Cambridge, MD. Officers confirmed Cannon as the person who had stolen items and Officers issued Cannon a criminal citation.
