Teaming Up at Wegmans Easton during this mornings’ free food giveaway Open to the public at the Boys & Girls Club of Easton 210 Jones Houston Way in SouthsideSaturday morning, September 5, 2026.

Food security remains a major concern, not just here in the Lehigh Valley and the City of Easton, but throughout the country in which we live, work, and raise our children.

Thanks to our collaboration with local businesses—such as the Wegmans grocery and bakery store in Easton—as well as the generosity of local individuals and organizations supporting the Club's free access to food initiative (including Richard and Susan Master, the United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley, and the Lehigh Valley Community Foundation), the Boys & Girls Club of Easton is able to offer two consecutive days of free food distribution. This service is available to those who visit the Boys & Girls Club on Saturdays and Sundays between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM.

This morning, I am especially thankful to Dawson Weller, a former childhood Club member, now a mentor and extraordinary volunteer. We are at Wegmans picking up generous donations of food items, which typically include meats, pastries, prepared meals, produce, and more to share with our community.

This free food giveaway is a vital resource that helps food-insecure families and individuals access healthy food, reduce hunger, and supplement their income.

Thanks to our supporters, what we get in food donations and financial support we give back to our community.

Best regards,
Dean Young
