The Gulf is very rough today - As of noon on June 18th, the water is not closed, but the surf is up - Please use caution in and around the water.

What's shaken', y'all??? 👀 YES, there was an earthquake in the Gulf near Cuba... NO, there is not any danger from a Tsunami. We are in touch with the Franklin County Florida Emergency Management team if there is any follow-up, but at this time, there are no warnings to be aware of. Thanks!

ALL: 🔥The Franklin County Burn Ban🔥 is still in effect… No open fires, no exceptions!!! If you see any open fires, please call 911. It’s still too dry, despite the few storms that came through.

This Memorial Day, the SGI Volunteer Fire Department pauses to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Their sacrifice secured the freedoms we enjoy every day, and their courage will never be forgotten. As we gather with family and friends this weekend, we remember those who made that privilege possible.

Today, we remember the fallen.
We honor their legacy.
And we remain forever grateful.
