I have lived here my whole life, I am 44 years old. 16 of those years I have lived across from a popular park. The traffic on my street has gotten busier and faster and I am wondering if anyone thinks it would be wise to put in the plastic speed bumps to decrease the speeding. Being a park and the amount of kids and bicycles and people out walking their pets it is scary to think of the outcome of these peoples high speeds. What is the way to go about bringing this issue up with the city?
How would you feel and what would you do if your mayor texted your spouse multiple mother's days greetings???? WELL I DONT LIKE IT!!! My Mother's Day celebration was ruined AND our has been privacy violated... Our mayor texed my husband with mother's day greetings not once, but twice...HOW DID SHE EVEN GET HIS # ??? I feel VIOLATED...I am FEARFUL ...I have been shaking all day...what would you do???
Just curious if or when the street sweeper will clean Stephens? Went for a run and bike ride there last week and the shoulders along the curb are covered in gravel, glass and other debris. All the way from Gratiot to Kelly; it’s rather unfortunate because that stretch of road is so nice with smooth pavement!
Hey Eastpointe, why did you delete all of your visitor posts?
Hello, I have a lawn service. I have senior and handicap customers in East Pointe that do not own mowers and can not cut their own lawns. The city of Warren, Roseville, SCS, and few other cities are allowing lawn services to service their customers. What is East Pointes policy for lawn services. I could not find any information about this on your news feed. I do not want to service my customers if I'm going to be in violation with the city. Please respond. Thank you. Kathy - Acorn Landscaping.
Anybody else here had a wheel on your {green} trash can break off ? Can you get a replacement wheel from the city, or do you have to pay for a new container ? I googled the container manufacturers web site and don't find any repair parts. Can't find the wheel I need on the internet to buy and fix it either.
Are you allowing lawn mowing? Mayor Foust, Warren is allowing companies to only mow grass.
I officially live in Eastpointe Michigan but my mailing address is Roseville. I live on Flower but I have to go by Wiseman in order to get my mail. That has always been a bothersome problem. There are quite a number of streets on the north side of 10 mile and Gratiot to Hayes area that have the same problem. The reason I’m bringing this up is because when taking the Census, I registered as living in Roseville because they ask you for your address, actually your mailing address. So there is no way for us to signify that we actually live in Eastpointe Michigan. This is going to affect the population on this census. It is going to be show more people living in Roseville instead. Just saying. Eastpointe may want to look into this issue.
Gleaners will be at Kelly Middle School Tuesday April 14th at 9:30 a.m.
The city distributed a flyer yesterday stating that due to the water main replacement the water on Donald, south of Stephens, would be shut off no earlier the. 9 am today. They began the work at 7 am today and the water was off well before 9. I guess the contractor didn’t read the flyer.
While staying at home, think of ways you can encourage others--to stay safe and healthy--and to use the time wisely. Please don't allow children to play on the equipment at parks or schools. We're all in this together and we will survive! :-)
