During an emergency, we fall back on our training. Help us give islanders training to use a fire extinguisher. This high-quality, hands-on training will empower islanders to respond to a small fire so it doesn't become a big one.
This training would let community members:
✅ Not just learn the steps but actually pull the pin, aim, squeeze, and sweep (PASS) with a refillable chemical-free extinguisher
✅ Practice the PASS technique until they master it with a prop that responds to their method
✅ Get safe, controlled experience with 3 different classes of fire using specialized props (trash can, pan/kitchen, motor, paint locker)
Today is the final day of the Spring campaign. Help us cross the finish line and bring this powerful training tool to Orcas Island.
