What a hoot at our Eaton Rapids Township Christmas party with our favorite guest! When family and members get together, the laughter is contagious, and our games and ugly sweater contest are always a hit. The kids went wild seeing Santa Claus! Pat and his wife – the dynamic duo – won the ugly sweater contest! We evn had a ginger bread house competition! We also honored Captain Clarke’s two decades of service and assistant chief Wilbur’s 15 years with the township

What a tremendous way to launch the Christmas celebrations! We can’t thank our members enough for taking time out of their already busy schedules to decorate our fire truck and spread some holiday spirit at Eaton Rapids Christmas parade.

Happy Thanksgiving from our family at Eaton Rapids Township Fire to yours! 🦃🚒
As we all prepare to enter the annual marathon of turkey eating, pie sampling, and pretending we totally know how long to cook things without starting a small kitchen incident… we want to give a huge shout-out to the real MVPs:
🔥 Our members – the folks who can go from “half-asleep on the couch” to “fully functional hero” in about 12 seconds flat.

🔥 Their families – the patient legends who understand that dinner might be interrupted at any moment by a pager going off like a startled turkey.

🔥 Our residents – the community we’re honored to serve, and who we silently root for every year to remember to keep the deep fryer outside.

🔥 Our mutual aid partners – the neighborly teammates who show up faster than your relatives when they hear you have extra pie.

This Thanksgiving, we’re grateful for the laughs, the teamwork, and every safe holiday meal that doesn’t involve us spraying foam on someone’s dessert table.
From all of us at Eaton Rapids Township Fire, may your turkey be juicy, your mashed potatoes lump-free, and your smoke alarms remain blissfully quiet.

With September here and gone we had another busy month with 70 calls for service.

51 medicals
4 personal injury crashes
3 vehicle fires
3 fire alarms
2 odor investigations
2 misc fire calls
1 fire investigation
2 structure fires
1 special rescue
1 brush fire

Again and as always we can’t thank our members and their families for the continued dedication that they show month in and month out! We couldn’t do it without all of them!

What a steady year so far, today ff/emt k speck, Captain Berry and Clarke got the 500th call of the year. We are on pace for a record year.

Where is the year going? Another month closer to that wonderful white stuff Michigan calls snow we all love right!? 🤣 for the month of July we responded to 57 total calls for service!
