E Main Street (U S Route 35) is CLOSED at Meadowbrook Dr. Vehicles traveling East will need to take Lexington Road to Washington Twin to get back onto 35 going East. E. Main is scheduled to be closed until Friday, February 20th.

EPD K9 Unit Assists in Drug Seizure

On 12/09/2025 Eaton Police Division Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation on S. Barron St. While conducting the stop, Officers observed criminal indicators which lead to the deployment of Eaton Police K9 R***r. K9 R***r positively alerted to the present odor of narcotics coming from the vehicle.

Officers performed a search of the vehicle which lead to the discovery of two separate narcotics. Suspected Methamphetamine and suspected Fentanyl/He**in were located inside. Both substances weighing more than 5x bulk.

These subjects were charged with the following criminal offenses:

Michelle Frazier:

Possession of Fentanyl-Related Compound (F1)
Aggravated Possession of Drugs (F2)
Possession of He**in (F2)
Illegal Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (M4)

James Reese:

Possession of Fentanyl-Related Compound (F1)
Aggravated Possession of Drugs (F2)
Possession of He**in (F2)
Illegal Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (M4)
