Thank you to the Preble County Mental Health & Recovery Board for hosting last week's Case Manager Training! Several members of our PCBDD team were able to attend and take part in a valuable day of learning, collaboration, and professional development.

We appreciate the opportunity to strengthen our knowledge and connect with fellow professionals who are committed to supporting individuals and families in our community.

Last week, multiple agencies came together for the 2026 United Front Case Manager Training!
It was a great opportunity to collaborate, learn about local resources, and build strong connections. Huge thanks to our incredible presenters and to Henny Penny for hosting us!
And most importantly—thank you to all the trainees for your dedication to our community and the people you serve every day.

Mark your calendars! The A.S.K. Playground will be buzzing with fun on June 16 as Preble County WIC hosts its Family Fun Fest from 4:30–6:30 p.m.

WIC families can enjoy activities, snacks, games, Italian ice, and more during this free family event.

Our staff enjoyed the opportunity to step outside Tuesday and support the athletes of Preble County Special Olympics during the Law Enforcement Torch Run! It was great to come together as a community, cheer on our individuals, and celebrate inclusion. Everyone at PCBDD wishes the athletes the best of luck this weekend at State!

In observance of Memorial Day, the Preble County Board of Developmental Disabilities office will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026.

While our office is closed, our 24-hour emergency line will remain available at (937) 733-1616.

Registration is now open for the 2026 Conscious Discipline Educator Training.

Join fellow educators and professionals for a full day of learning focused on social and emotional development, behavior regulation, and creating connected environments for children.

Lunch included with registration. Register by May 31.

Reminder! Applications are still being accepted for individuals interested in attending this year’s Synergy Conference!

PCBDD is inviting interested individuals we serve to apply for the opportunity to attend the conference by completing an application, submitting one letter of recommendation, and participating in a short interview. We created this process so we can hear directly from individuals about why they want to attend and what they hope to gain from the experience.

• Paper Copy: Pick up an application at the PCBDD Office located at 112 W Main Street, Eaton, Ohio. Completed applications and letters of recommendation can be returned to our office.

Once applications and letters of recommendation are submitted, interviews will be scheduled. Transportation to interviews can be provided if needed.
