We would like to congratulate Eaton Colorado Police Department (and their hired help) on their 2-1 win against us today. We always enjoy being able to put this event on every year and be out in the community. Thank you to everyone who came out to support! Also, a huge thank you to Eaton Days, Eaton high school (who allowed us to play in their gym), Heritage market (who donated concessions) Route 85, and Eaton Pizza (who donated drinks and chips), and Michelle at Pure Skin Co (who donated free chair massages). We truly could not do this event without all the help from our incredible community. ❤️

Today is the day!!

Battle of the badges is here!

Today the Eaton Fire Protection District and Eaton Police Department will settle the ultimate question: Who really deserves the bragging rights?

🚒 Fire says they're used to putting out heat...
🚓 Police say they'll be making all the stops.

Expect competitive trash talk, lots of stretching and at least one player insisting they "meant to do that."

Don't worry the rules have been set!
🚨 No one gets arrested for a bad penalty.
🔥 No one has to extinguish a slap shot.
🤝 And no matter who wins, we're all on the same team when it comes to serving our community.

Eaton Days is this weekend starting on Friday!! Don’t forget we have the Pancake breakfast Saturday morning before the parade. FREE food from 6am-9am at the fire station. Then Sunday at 12pm we have the FD vs PD floor hockey game at the high school! We will be selling concessions with the proceeds going to The Eaton Fire Firefighters Fund and Toys from a Cop.
We will also be participating in multiple events throughout Eaton days! Thank you to all our sponsors who make this possible: American Legion Post 26, Eaton Days, Eaton High School, Heritage Market, Route 85, Eaton Pizza, Pure Skin Co, and the Eaton Police Department!

Please be aware of the new speed limit changes.

The safety of everyone who travels Highway 85 matters to us. At the Town's request, CDOT conducted a traffic engineering speed study along the corridor.

Based on its findings, speed limits are being reduced. Some stretches on the south end of town will drop from 65 mph to 50 mph, and others from 50 mph to 35 mph. (see graphic below).

Additionally, the Eaton PD will lead with education, not citations, as the community gets familiar with the changes.

CDOT has confirmed the change will be completed by July 10

Summer is here which means it’s a perfect time to make sure your solar panels are clear of any debris and working properly. Here are some solar panel safety tips.
Reminder- do not put yourself in danger to clean or maintain solar panels. Always power the solar panels off before you start cleaning. Reach out to the installation company for any questions and maintenance if you are not comfortable doing it yourself. You can look for debris/ damage from the ground.

‼️Our Annual Pancake Breakfast is back‼️
Join us and the American Legion Post 26- Saturday, July 11th: 6am-9am at the Fire Station. EVERYONE EATS FREE!
Donations are appreciated and will be split between the American Legion Post 26 and the Eaton Fire- Firefighters Fund.
After you fill up on pancakes, sausage, and eggs, enjoy a tour of the Fire Station.

Sunday, July 12th we will be taking on Eaton PD in a game of floor hockey🥅🏒

Admission is free, but we will be selling concessions (cash only) to raise money for Toys From a Cop and the Firefighter Fund! As if watching your favorite first responders battle it out wasn’t fun enough, Michelle over at Pure Skin & Co will also be giving FREE 5-minute chair massages during the event! 🎉
