EATON — Candles illuminated an area in Fort St. Clair Park Monday evening as community members gathered to remember lives lost to overdose, support grieving families and renew efforts to combat the stigma surrounding substance use.

Each candle lit represents a cherished life lost too soon. While we gather in remembrance, we also stand together in hope, working toward a community where support, treatment, recovery, and compassion are available to all.
