Thank You to our community members that came out to our BBQ fundraiser to support us. We were able to sell all 450 halves with more than half of that being dinners. We also want say thank you our Eaton FD team for their hard work this weekend making this event successful.

Today is the the day. Come on out we have chicken on the BBQ. Halves are $10 and meals are $15. Meals include a half of a chicken, salt potatoes, dinner roll with butter, baked beans, coleslaw, and ice cream. 2631 Mechanic St we start selling at 11am.

This Sunday is our last Chicken BBQ of the season. Come on out. Chicken will be ready by 11am.

This weekend Captain Adam Montanye and FF/EMT Dave Snyder attended the National Volunteer Fire Council's Traing Summit in Arlington, VA. They spent 2 days going through classes on leadership with some of the best instructors from across the nation. Adam and Dave were able to network with other firefighters and EMS personnel from 48 states. Adam was awarded a travel stipend from the NVFC to help cover part of his expenses.

This marks 4 years in a row we have had members attending one of the summits that have spanned from South Dakota, New York, Utah, and now Virginia. Each year we have been granted travel stipends for at least one to go. In total we have sent 4 members to these events.

The department is excited for the new ideas from this years summit to help us grow as we continue to proudly serve our community.

Don't forget, we are still a 100% Professional Volunteer Department. Stop down any Wednesday night after 7:00 PM to talk with us to see how you can be part of the family.

Congratulations to Firefighter Adam Henry for completing your EMT B course.

The New York State (NYS) EMT-Basic course is a 150-to-180-hour program that teaches foundational life support, trauma management, and emergency medical operations. Successful completion qualifies students for the NYS certification exam and the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) examination.

Great Job Adam we are proud of your hard work and continued dedication to our community.
