Last Thursday, managers of Gro-Tech invited EFD to hold our annual drill at Gro-Tech. PCFD Station 10 was in attendance as well. Pizza was provided for responders.

The managers gave the Fire Departments a tour of the facilities. The Responders were given information and viewed locations inside and outside of facility.

Fire Departments were shown all of their Safety features and protocols that they have in place. The departments were very impressed with their continued Safety for not only employees but responders also.

EFD conducted a Fire Extinguisher demonstration/class on fire extinguishers for Putnam General Hospital. This concluded the celebration and honoring “National Hospital Week”. Thank you PGH for being there for the community in our time of need.

The Eatonton Fire Department conducted a Live Burn Training at PCFD station 2 this morning. With the help of PC Assistant Chief and firefighters, EFD performed different scenarios of “attacking the fire”. Firefighters was able to sharpen their skills to better fight fires. EFD had a great drill of all who was able to attend. Good Job!
