Coach Keiser and Mrs. Schell’s History classes enjoyed a field trip to the Ocmulgee Mounds in Macon, Georgia! This site has been part of our unit of study this semester, so students had the opportunity to see firsthand what they have been learning about in the classroom. They explored the history and culture of the Native Americans who once lived in the area, viewed artifacts and exhibits, and learned more about the Woodland Village and the significance of the mounds. It was a great day of learning and bringing our History lessons to life!

🎓 High School Happenings is a new virtual parent information session designed to keep you informed and connected. Join us via Microsoft Teams every 3rd Monday of the month to receive important updates, hear about upcoming events, and stay engaged in your student's high school experience.

📢 ATTENTION PCHS 11th GRADE PARENTS! 📢

Please check your Parent Portal messages and/or email for notification regarding your student's missing updated immunization records.

⏰ Deadline: Monday, August 31, 2026, at 3:00 PM

Georgia law requires current immunization records for all 11th grade students. Students who do not have updated records on file by the deadline will be withdrawn from school and will not be allowed to return until their immunization records are current.

We’re excited to invite you to join us for 9th Grade Family Night on Wednesday, September 09, 2026, from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM! This event is a wonderful opportunity to connect with our students’ families, celebrate their progress, and build strong partnerships that support our 9th graders’ success.

What Does 9th Grade Family Night Look Like?

1. Welcome & Check-In – By Counselors
*Families arrive and check in at the entrance.
*Parents receive progress reports to review their student’s academic standing.

2. Teacher Meet & Greet and Student Progress Discussions
*Teachers are stationed in classrooms or designated areas to meet families.
*Discuss individual student progress, strengths, and areas for growth based on the progress reports.
*Answer parent questions about coursework, grading, and classroom expectations.

3. Open Dialogue and Support
*Encourage families to ask questions.
*Provide guidance and resources to support student success.

4. Closing
*Thank families for attending and emphasizing the importance of ongoing communication.
*Remind families to utilize the Campus Portal and available resources.
