Two weeks ago, we said farewell to our spectacular Spring 2026 Environmental Education team! Together, this team taught 1,628 classes between February through May. That includes leading 195 miles of hikes, spending 540 hours sampling Rock Eagle Lake, canoeing for 326 hours, spending 428 hours building teams on our low ropes course, time traveling (to our Historic Pioneer Site) for 444 hours, teaching 282 herpetology classes, and more! We wish our team the best in their next endeavors!
If these Spring accomplishments sound fun to you or someone you know, we are NOW HIRING for our Fall 2026 Environmental Education team. Make 1400 acres of lakeside property your home this fall in the Georgia piedmont. Benefits include staff training, access to recreation facilities, outdoor gear discounts, professional development, paid certifications, limited health insurance, opportunities to work with animals, and learn more about science education.
