HELP Community Development Corporation H.E.L.P. Community Development Corporation. A HUD-approved Housing & Financial Literacy Counseling Agency since 1996.

CDC was created after identifying a critical need for housing stability and financial empowerment within our community. What began as a grassroots effort has evolved into a community development organization focused on helping individuals and families achieve long‑term stability and economic mobility. We provide housing counseling and financial education designed to support individuals and familie

s at various stages of their housing and financial journeys. We are also engaged in community‑focused efforts to expand access to affordable housing and promote neighborhood revitalization in the surrounding area. As part of our broader approach to economic empowerment, we are reimagining our services to strengthen pathways to career and income growth. Through strategic partnerships with educational institutions and financial funding partners, we support individuals in building essential life skills, advancing their education, and increasing their earning potential.

30 Years of H.E.L.P.

Thirty years ago, on June 18th 1996, a seed was planted in Central Florida with a simple but powerful belief: that every individual and family deserves the opportunity to live prosperously.

What began as a vision in 1996 has grown into three decades of housing counseling, financial education, foreclosure prevention, homeownership, and now affordable housing development. Helping Everyone Live Prosperously Community Development Corporation (H.E.L.P. CDC) has sat across the table from thousands of families, in their best moments and their most difficult ones, and we have been honored to walk with them through every step.

We have seen first-time homebuyers become homeowners. We have seen families stop foreclosures and save the homes they built their lives in. We have seen seniors protect the equity they worked a lifetime to earn. We have seen communities begin to change, one household at a time.

None of this happened alone. It happened because of the clients who trusted us with their most important financial decisions. The partners, lenders, realtors, legal advocates, and community organizations who believed in the work. The staff, past and present, who showed up every single day with commitment and heart. And the community that has embraced us and helped us grow.

Thirty years is not just a number. It is thousands of families, relationships built on trust, and a legacy still being written.

We are just getting started.

Here's to 30 years, and to everything still ahead.
