We are so grateful for this wonderful group of volunteers from Ansay and Associates! They helped spruce up our building by cleaning and painting. Also, between rain storms they got our outside areas looking fresh.
Thank you so much, we appreciate all the help!

The Salvation Army of the Chippewa Valley is grateful to announce a $5,000 grant award from the Eau Claire Community Foundation in support of our Essential Hygiene & Transportation Assistance for Eau Claire County program.
These funds will help provide hygiene supplies, gas vouchers, and transportation assistance for local residents facing financial hardship. Last year alone, our facility distributed hygiene items to more than 2,800 families and provided transportation support to hundreds of Eau Claire County residents.
Thank you to the Eau Claire Community Foundation along with the B.J. and Bea Farmer Family Fund, Daniel F. and Margaret J. Brown Memorial Fund, and the Duane and Joan Dingmann Family Fund for supporting our community and helping meet essential daily needs.

On the surface, National Donut Day is about sprinkles and free treats; however, the powerful history behind it is about courage, compassion, and remarkable women serving on the front lines.
It dates back to World War I when Salvation Army volunteers, who would become known as “Donut Lassies,” hand-fried donuts in the trenches of France, bringing warmth and joy to American troops far from home. In 1938, The Salvation Army established
National Donut Day to honor those selfless volunteers and spread that same joy during the hardship of the Great Depression.

Over nine decades later, The Salvation Army continues fill our community with joy by honoring the heart and resilience of
the tradition. Today, a couple members of our board Quincy and Ken and staff member Amanda, delivered donuts to the VFW Post 305, VFW Post 7232 and the Veterans Home.

Thank you to our Veterans, Service Members and First Responders and Happy Donut Day! 🍩🍩🍩
