Spend the last few weeks of Summer at the Fairfax Pool. Get a FREE RIDE there with Eau Claire Transit on the Bebop and Magic Routes on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays!

The City of Eau Claire invites local artists to submit proposals for a new public mural that will transform a wall at the Eau Claire Transit Transfer Center into a vibrant celebration of cultural inclusion.

The City is seeking creative proposals that explore themes of cultural inclusion, belonging, and the richness of our diverse community. Interested artists are encouraged to complete the mural proposal form and submit their concept for consideration. Artists should interpret these themes in their own unique style while creating a piece that is welcoming, inspiring, and reflective of our community.

Application Timeline:

Proposal deadline: August 6, 2026
Artists notified: By August 26, 2026

Looking for an excuse to Try Transit? Ride the bus for free anywhere in Eau Claire on Thursday, July 23!

Eau Claire ELCA Lutheran Congregations will be sponsoring free fares all day on July 23rd in partnership with the Homeless Connect Event.

Hop on the #8 Bus to attend the Homeless Connect Event from 9am - 11:30am at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 1120 Cedar St.

Make sure to stop by the Eau Claire Transit Booth to learn more about our Reduced Fare options for riding the bus! Other free services provided at the event include hair cuts, food, and connection to other community services and resources.
