As EMS Week starts to wind down, we need to still thank our fire partners. Fire is where we originated from over 50 years ago. Again the theme this year is "Improving Outcomes, Together" and we can not do it without our Fire Departments. Many times they are the first ones there providing aid and other times they come with the muscle to help with patient handling. Thank you Baden, Economy, Harmony and New Sewickley Fire Departments.

EMS Week continues. Today we want to spotlight the 4 Police Departments we work with daily. The theme this year is "Improving Outcomes, Together". Many time the police are the first on scene providing patient care. But we also appreciate the safety they provide for our crews.

Today we continued our EMS Week outreach to our partners. The theme this year is "Improving Outcomes, Together". Without our 9-1-1 Center we could not do what we do. They begin the life saving event by providing pre-arrival instructions. We were excited today to drop off a small token of our appreciation.

We would like to thank the Aliquippa Girl Scouts for inviting us to visit on Wednesday! The girls were fantastic and asked so many great questions about EMS, firefighting, and how local emergency services work together to help protect the community during emergencies.

It was a great opportunity for your Economy EMS crew to spend time with such an enthusiastic group, show them our Ambulance and equipment, and talk about the important role teamwork plays in emergency response. We truly enjoyed the visit and appreciate the warm welcome from everyone involved!
