Congratulations all! Especially Delilia Topp, our friend from the EV Library.

The 2026 Meeker County 4-H Ambassadors Audrey Frenchick of the Koronis Eager Beavers, Frances Geurts and Maisy Geurts of the Kimball Kruisers, and Delilah Topp of the Valley Victors, met with the Meeker County Board of Commissioners on June 16th to share their support of and involvement with a recent community project they centered around mental health. (1 picture) Thank you for your involvement, ladies!

In Minnesota, you can check out Nature Adventure Backpacks for free through your local public library, Eden Valley Area Library. These kits help families explore the outdoors without financial barriers.

What's Included: Backpacks often contain hands-on exploration tools like binoculars, magnifying glasses, field guides, of course books in each Nature Advernture Backpack and more.
Loan Periods: Check out for three weeks.
How to Check Out: You must have a library card. You can usually place holds online through your library's website, FB page, phone or email. Kits must be picked up and returned to the service desk in person in the library.

Today we remember beloved author and generous mentor Jane Yolen. She will be greatly missed. Jane wrote 450 books over the years, so even if you've read many...there are probably more to explore.
