Hand & Feet Friend Spotlight: Jody

Beautiful inside and out, Jody is this week’s Hand & Feet Friend! She serves as the Secretary on the Board of Directors and has been part of the board for just over a year. Jody came to the center at the recommendation of a colleague and friend, and she says that what she enjoys most is working alongside others of authentic faith and genuine hearts for God and the people they serve.

Her favorite scripture is Luke 17:21:
"Nor will they say, 'See here!' or 'See there!' For indeed, the Kingdom of God is within you."

Jody is grateful to have been introduced to the Christ-centered ministry of the Rockingham Pregnancy Care Center. She values knowing that she is a thread in the tapestry of saving babies’ lives and strengthening families in the community—a deeply rewarding experience, all to the glory of God.

If you’ve seen this lady around Rockingham County, you’ve already received a blessing! Mary is our Hands and Feet Friend this week, serving on our board of directors. She came to the center with a deep desire to support young families, believing that anything you do can make a difference in someone’s life. Her favorite scripture is Luke 12:48: “To whom much is given, much is required.”

Mary loves volunteering and working with students. She serves as a substitute teacher in the Rockingham County School System. She was named the 2019 Citizen of the Year for the Town of Madison and the 2021 West Rockingham County Chamber of Commerce Volunteer of the Year. She loves meeting new people, and if you need something done, Mary is your girl!

Mary exudes passion and dedication wherever she serves. Please lift her up in prayer as she seeks to do God’s will for her life. Thank you, Mary, for your servant heart. We love you!
