Joan White, Director of Out of the Box Child Care, Joan Watts, Director of Countryside Care, and Susan Nixon, our Executive Director, were honored to join Governor Josh Stein and child care leaders from across the State at the Governor's Mansion for a reception in celebration of signing a proclamation for May 20 to officially be noted as Child Care Provider Appreciation Day.

State leaders spoke about the importance of investing in children and families, and dedicated child care professionals who support working families every day. We are so grateful for the many who serve our children here in Chowan and Perquimans Counties! They truly strive to provide the best care they can for "our" children!
