The Oakes Volunteer Ambulance Service has asked us to share this information with our community, if you have a youth that would be interested in signing up for this OHV safety course, please click the link below to register. **note this course is not taking place in Edgeley this year**

We still have openings for our OHV class being offered on July 30. There are spots available in both the 10am and 2pm class. This class is for unlicensed drivers ages 12-15 who wish to operate ATVs and UTVs on land that is not owned by their parents. Children who will turn 12 within 6 months of taking the course are eligible as well.

Last week we celebrated one of our long time service members retirement. Kenny Scallon has been with the ambulance service as a driver/first responder for 20+ years. 🚑❤️🚨
Kenny we are so grateful for your commitment to our squad and community, your time and talents were greatly appreciated. We wish you all the best in this next chapter.

The EMR students have been working hard in the classroom on learning life saving skills to help when emergency situations arise.

Thank you for your interest in the EMR course, if you filled out the survey link that was posted, the schedule for the class has been set. We are looking to get books ordered and get moving with the first steps. We will need a for sure yes or no answer on taking this class no later Friday 3/20/26 by 8 AM.
