Thank you to our local Masons at Fulton Lodge #69 for this gift to The Porter Center…a gift that may save a life!

❤️ A Gift That Could Save a Life ❤️

We are incredibly grateful to the Edgerton Masons at Fulton Lodge #69 for generously gifting an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) to The Porter Center.

AEDs are designed so that almost anyone can use them during a cardiac emergency. Once turned on, the machine provides clear, step-by-step voice instructions to guide someone through placing the pads and assisting the person in need.

The AED then analyzes the person’s heart rhythm and will only deliver a shock if one is medically necessary, helping take the guesswork out of responding during a stressful situation.

We certainly hope it is something we never need to use, but we are very thankful to have this potentially life-saving equipment available for our guests and our community.
