Our collection bins will be out until December 10th! Please consider dropping off a toy, family game, wrapping paper roll, or clothing items (items such as new packs of underwear are helpful!) in one of our bins to help out the kids of Edgerton this season! We serve kids from birth through 5th grade! Thank you!

Over 2 TONS of FOOD was RAISED! It’s still hard for me to wrap my head around the figure …4,487 pounds or 5,308 donated items! That is simply AMAZING! The sight was surreal, carts upon carts, all overflowing with food items at each and every school! Thanks to you, the Edgerton Food Panty just got the boost it so dearly needed! Top honors donating 2,282 food items (2,119 lbs) of food was the ELEMENATRY school followed by the MIDDLE SCHOOL, YAHARA & the HIGH SCHOOL! FIRST place OVERALL goes to 2nd/3rd Graders raising 858 items! SECOND place OVERALL was 4th/5th Graders raising 637 items. THIRD place OVERALL was Kindergarten/1st Graders raising 582 items. FORTH place OVERALL place goes to 6th Graders raising 455 items and FIFTH place OVERALL go to Mrs. Nelson’s Class at YAHARA raising 425 items! A special shout out goes to all my helpers that made this challenge possible BUTttttt an extra special "THANK-YOU" goes to Megan Dorn & Lauren Splitter, who went above & beyond the call of duty!

Last BIG push … thanks so much for keeping this food challenge GOING! This would NOT be possible without each of YOU! Megan Dorn/Lauren Splitter updated the graphs yesterday in Edgerton and we have a new leader, 2/3 graders with 221 (WOW) however right on their tail are the 4/5 graders with 208, K/1 graders with 163 and the elementary staff with 50! At the middle school we have the 6 graders with 212, 7 graders with 149, 8 graders with 87 and the middle school staff at 78. At the high school we have Juniors with 141, Freshmen with 97, HS Staff with 91, Seniors with 49 and Sophomores with 29! Still "TIME" for YOUR class to reach the TOP! Why not help your MOM or GRANDMA clean their FOOD pantry tonight and put those unwanted items to good use! All food will be collected THIS Friday! The Merry Monkeys are hosting a FOOD DRIVE CHALLENGE at ALL the SCHOOLS (HS, Middle School, Elementary & Yahara) from November 7th until November 18th so don't forget to bring in a food item or 12! heHEhe! Which class in EACH school will be crowned the most giving? Don't have a child in school? No worries, donations can be dropped into one of the 4 bins located around town (Sara's Health & Fitness, Edgerton Piggly Wiggly, Threads or at ECO) or cash donations can be made via our website at www.edgertonoutreach.org Remember ALL donations go directly to the Edgerton Food Pantry! TODAY is "Dine out for hunger" in EDGERTON so PLEASE don't cook tonight, instead hit one of these Edgerton restaurants and help the Edgerton Community Outreach stock their shelves! Culvers, Subway, Paul Revere's, Ray's, Cast Away, Sand Trap, Wi******er & Coachman's! If you alrady have plans, why not drop a box of cereal into one of the Merry Monkey Bins this week! Happy 6 month anniversary Monkeys! To date we've collected 1,046 food items which equals 944 lbs of food! We would like to THANK each and everyone of you who have "dropped" off food items into one of the 4 bins we have located in town OR who have generously mailed in those checks! It really makes a BIG difference!
