The American Red Cross will be here on July 7th and again on August 12th, for a Blood Drive from 1-6pm. If kids complete a coloring sheet and their grown up donating blood brings it back with them to the drive, they'll recieve a plushie blood drop! Grab a coloring sheet from Allie's table!

Good Morning! We're short on staff this morning and the rain took care of watering the garden for us yesterday, so Kids in the Garden this morning (6/25) is cancelled.

Bummed to not be working in the dirt? There's an opportunity for Garden Tending for all ages this Saturday at 3:15pm!

Stories & Soil: Community Garden Organic Techniques for Gardeners
Wednesday June 24th | 6pm
Location: Silverwood Park - Dane County, Wisconsin

Community Gardens are unique shared spaces that, if organically maintained, need cooperation and proactive monitoring by everyone to be really successful. Like in nature, everything is connected, and using a variety of techniques together produces the best results.
A certified Master Gardener Volunteer will take you through the organic techniques you will need to use to be a successful organic gardener. Techniques include: soils and composting, organic treatments, disease resistant plants, pest control, best garden practices, and w**d ID and control.
This program takes place at Silverwood Park, 771 Silver Lane, Edgerton.

Well, darn these rainy Wednesdays! Our friends at Arts Council of Edgerton have asked us to share that the Concert in the Park for tonight, June 24, has been cancelled due to the weather.

Due to the ongoing rain in the forecast, the Concert in the Park for this evening has been canceled.

Rain date is Wednesday, August 26th.

Join us at the library to learn how to keep your bicycle in tip-top shape! This event will be held outside depending on the weather. Rain location will be the large programming room inside the library. Please bring your bike with you to get a little hands-on experience, too!
