Training with one of our volunteers turned into training for the entire crew.

The main focus was to “grab the plug” aka getting a water supply from the fire hydrant to the Engine before all 1,000 gallons of water was gone from the onboard water tank. It’s a race against time especially during a true emergency which is why it’s even more important to train on it. 💪🏃💧🚒

We had a special guest stop by our firetruck display this past weekend at the county fair. We tried recruiting Sluggerrr but he loves working for the Kansas City Royals too much. Plus we don’t have a fire helmet that could fit his crown. 😎🚒⚾️
