Membership & Engagement – Leads recruitment efforts to grow our numbers and fosters continued involvement among members through volunteer opportunities, promoting inclusion, and helping the chapter be more connected with each other.
Outreach & Communications – Manages the community-facing aspects of the organization, including tabling at local events, and promoting our activities/messaging on social media and beyond.
Government & Political Affairs – Organizes our campaigns, civic involvement, and advocacy by running workshops, maintaining relationships with elected officials/candidates, and managing partnerships with other organizations.
Programming & Fundraising – Oversees the planning and running of events by brainstorming ideas, collecting donations, managing logistics, and maintaining a consistent schedule of activities for our members.
Bylaws & Rules – Makes recommendations to the Executive Board on AACYD's policies and standards by reviewing our governing documents and developing organizational procedures for the betterment of the chapter.
