Heads up, FB family! Sheriff Mina has some important information. Please don’t fall for these scams. The police will never call and ask for money regarding warrants, jury duty, or tolls. We want you to keep your money where it belongs, in your pocket.

Tonight at our City Council Meeting, Deputy Chief Garcia presented Good Citizenship awards to Brett & Jack Barner. In a moment of desperate need, both Brett & Jack sprang into action to help strangers caught in a summer storm on one of our lakes who had fallen into the water without life preservers.

Thanks to their involvement, two lives were saved that day. We will always be grateful for their selfless act toward their fellow citizens.
