📚✨ Annual GT Challengers Overview ✨📚

We’re excited to welcome our Challenger students and families to our Annual Meeting tonight at 5 pm in the PK-8 Cafetorium! This is an important opportunity to connect, learn, and get ready for an amazing year ahead.💜

During the meeting, families will:

🌟 Learn about upcoming opportunities for the year
🧠 Get an overview of our GT Program
🤝 Discuss family commitment and partnership
🎯 Review Challenger expectations, both in and out of the classroom
👋 Meet our new Elementary GT Teacher!

📱💜💛 ROOMS COMMUNICATION UPDATE

We’re still working through a few issues with our new Rooms platform, and we appreciate your patience while we get everything ironed out! If you’ve already sent us an email about an issue, we’ll be working through those today. We’ve been tackling some data issues first to see if those corrections resolve some of the problems families are experiencing.

In the meantime, you won’t miss out on important information! 📣 We will continue blasting district and campus communication through our calendars and social media, and we’ll keep doing that even after the Rooms issues are resolved.

💜💛 THERE’S NOTHING QUITE LIKE THIS SOUND! 💛💜

On Pep Rally Day, one of our favorite moments is hearing our Intermediate students proudly sing the Edgewood School Song! 🎶

There’s something special about hearing the next generation of Bulldogs learn and carry on the traditions that have been passed down through Edgewood for years. And these words say it all:

📱💜💛 GUARDIAN INVITES SHOULD BE ROLLING OUT! 💛💜📱

Parents and guardians, check your email! Edgewood ISD’s new two-way communication feature is up and running, and your invitation from Apptegy should be arriving.

This is how you’ll stay connected with your child’s teachers through Rooms and Messages in the Edgewood ISD App. 🐾

When you receive your invitation:

📧 Open the email from Apptegy and select “Create a password.”
🔐 Finish setting up your account.
📲 Download or open the Edgewood ISD App, log in, and you’re ready to go!

Once connected, you’ll have teacher communication, classroom updates, messages, district news, school information, and more all in one place.

⚠️ Be sure to check your spam or junk folder if you don’t see the invitation in your inbox.

If you do not receive an invite, then please
1. Login to your Parent Portal.
2. Choose My Account.
3. Maintain Student Data.
4. Click Contacts.
5. Make sure you have a different email and cell phone number listed for EACH contact.
