The University of Iowa's Weekend Enrichment program is designed to supplement what elementary and junior high students learn in school and give them a chance to explore their interests — or discover new ones! Weekend Enrichment consists of half-day enrichment opportunities for elementary and junior high students (grades 3—8) held at the Belin-Blank Center on the University of Iowa campus. Classes in STEM, arts, and the humanities will cultivate students’ interest and spark their curiosity! Students do not have to be in a gifted and talented program to participate in Weekend Enrichment. 🎉 Congratulations, Mazie!

Congratulations to Mazie R. Nurre, RT(R)(M)(BD), who recently earned her Bone Densitometry certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)!

This additional certification demonstrates Mazie’s knowledge and expertise in performing bone density exams, which play an important role in detecting osteoporosis and helping patients protect their bone health.

We’re proud of Mazie for continuing to grow her expertise and bringing that knowledge to the patients we serve at GMHC. ❤️
