Parking: There will be parking in the open lot next to the post office and west of Rich Ford. Handicap parking in Old Town Hall Parking lot. **A golf cart will be on hand to transport those with limited mobility to get to and from their car. Please be patient as the cart may be in use when you arrive.

There is NO admission fee for this event.

Pizza Barn and JUNO Edgewood will be open too!

The Edgewood and Sandia Mountain Lions Clubs and The New Mexico Lions Operation present: KidSight & AdultSight Eyeglasses Program

👓Order a FREE pair of glass with a current prescription with measurements
👓Have a FREE Diabetes blood screenings
👓Have your Blood Pressure checked
👓Visit with local medical and dental professionals
👓Meet with a Medicare specialist to review your Medicare needs
👓Seniors can bring family members for screenings and testing too!

Lunch is served at the Senior Center between 11:30 am and 1:00 pm for Seniors. **LUNCHES ARE NOT FREE. They are $1.50 for those over 60 and $7.50 for those under 60.

FRIDAY JUNE 28: The Albuquerque Astronomical Society is providing a slide show presentation at Wildlife West Nature Park that will start this event at 8:30 PM. This way, you’ll know which stars, constellations, and planets to look for. Then, at about 9:15, everyone will head outside for viewing through various telescope types that will be on site! The early summer sky is filled with well-known astronomical objects that we will be observing including the Milky Way, and various star types, clusters, nebula, and galaxies. Pending the weather, it will be a night you will remember!

Please note: it takes roughly 15 minutes for your eyes to adjust to “night vision”, so only RED flashlights are allowed in the telescope area. RED path lights will be present within the telescope viewing area for your safety.

**You may want to bring a flashlight to walk back to your car.
