Bluefish Families,

We are having a swim & dive team parent meeting on Tuesday, May 19th at 7:00 pm at Brookwood Swim Club. The main purpose of the meeting is to discuss our upcoming season, and answer questions that anyone of you may have about the swim & dive team. This season for fundraising we are planning on raffling off a bourbon basket and a gift card basket. If you would like to donate a bottle of bourbon or a $20/$25 gift card for our raffle baskets, then please bring those to the meeting or give to a booster member prior to the start of the season. We are also selling LaRosa's Buddy Cards for $10.

The smell of chlorine is in the air as we get ready for our bluefish to create waves in the pool. We need to make sure that all bluefish are signed up and registered for the swim & dive team by this Friday, May 15th. We want to make sure that all of athletes have their team t-shirt before the beginning of June, so they have their team t-shirt before the first swim or dive meet. Hello, everyone. My name is Brandon Napier, and I am the Brookwood Swim & Dive team booster president and NKSL delegate. This is my 9th year as the booster president, and I am excited for the 2026 swim & dive season. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me or any of our booster members regarding the upcoming season, and our team web site (https://www.gomotionapp.com/team/recnkbsky/page/home) has been updated with the exception of the sprit wear link. The online registration portal for the 2026 swim & dive team registration is now open. Please use the following link to register your child: https://www.gomotionapp.com/team/recnkbsky/page/team-registration. The NKSL regular and post season schedule is attached to this email. Look for more information in the coming weeks about a date and time for our parent meeting, which will likely occur in mid May. Our coaching staff for the 2026 season will look the same with the exception of Helen Michels, who has decided not to return for the 2026 season. I am sure that we will see Helen around, because she will always be a Bluefish. We have hired a new coach for the 2026 season, so please welcome Rebecca Raziano to our coaching staff. Rebecca comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the world of swimming and I am positive that she will do a wonderful job coaching your children.
