We are saddened to share the passing of James Bucksbee, who served on the General McLane School District Board of Education for 36 years. Mr. Bucksbee also served on the Erie County Technical School Board for 29 years, where he was a fierce advocate for the trades and all ECTS students. He also served as President of the ECVTS Foundation. We are incredibly grateful for the faithful service, dedication, and commitment he demonstrated to our community and District throughout his many years of service.
