The Erie County Land Bank’s Master Homeowner Program is back! This program is a seven-class series educating homeowners on how to care for their home, property, and neighborhood. The 2026 series begins September 1st and will be free of charge.

The Borough of Edinboro is seeking candidate(s) that would be interested in the following volunteer positions.

Municipal & Water Authority Board Member:
The Municipal & Water Authority Board serves in an advisory and oversight capacity for the Borough's water and wastewater utility systems. The Board helps ensure the continued delivery of safe, reliable, and cost-effective utility services to Borough residents and customers. The Authority Board meets the 2nd Monday at 5PM, usually Quarterly.

Zoning Hearing Board - Alternate:
A Zoning Hearing Board (ZHB) volunteer position is an appointed, quasi-judicial role. Members are responsible for interpreting local zoning ordinances, hearing appeals from zoning officers, and granting relief in the form of variances or special exceptions. This role ensures fair application of land-use laws while balancing community and property rights.
Meets 1st Wednesday at 6 PM as needed

Planning & Zoning Commission- Alternate:
A Planning and Zoning Commission volunteer position involves advising local government on community growth. Members review development applications, evaluate zoning amendments, and help implement the comprehensive plan. It is an impactful way to shape your community's physical and economic future.
Meets 3rd Thursday at 4PM as needed
