This evening our members had the unique opportunity to visit a nearby local family-owned farm: Steel Toe Farm.
The ever-hospitable Morgan Gilmore led an informative Q&A session about nutrition and organic food. Following that, we enjoyed a tour and generous offerings of fresh raw chocolate milk and organic sweets.
We are all already planning our return to the store to stock up on the farm’s nutritious products and specialty items (and also to pet Randy, the adorable ambassador goat).

A big thank you to Morgan and Nate and all our local farmers alike who work hard to keep the community healthy and educated.

If you haven’t already, check out the Steel Toe Farm page to follow all the great offerings these guys have for the community. 🐮
