Today during EMS Week, we recognize the voices behind the scenes who keep everything moving — our Dispatchers.

While ambulances are on the road, dispatchers are behind the scenes managing radios, answering phones, coordinating crews, tracking units, and helping keep operations running smoothly. In fast-paced and stressful moments, they stay focused and composed.

They are the friendly voice, the connection between callers and crews, and an essential part of patient care from the very first call. Their ability to multitask, communicate clearly, and support both crews and patients does not go unnoticed.
