Today, the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office proudly celebrated the graduation of its 41st Basic Peace Officer Course (BPOC).

Over the past nine months, these dedicated men and women have trained tirelessly, demonstrating resilience, discipline, and an unwavering commitment to serving their communities. Their journey has been demanding, but through hard work and determination, they have prepared themselves to uphold the highest standards of law enforcement.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the Honorable Armando Marroquin, Judge of Hidalgo County Court at Law No. 10, for serving as our keynote speaker and sharing words of encouragement with our graduates. We also thank Miranda Perales for her incredible accordion performance, John Brady for delivering the invocation, and the McAllen Fire Department for their support and participation in today's ceremony.

We are incredibly proud of each graduate and look forward to seeing them serve and protect the citizens of Hidalgo County with honor, integrity, and professionalism.
