Summer is here, Edinburg!
Couple quick things:
- Watch the kiddos around the pool, PLEASE. Drowning is often silent.
- Don't leave kids or animals in hot cars, ever.
- Check on elderly family. Grandma's 'hot girl summers' might be over but she would probably love to hear from you and be checked on.
- You are human, not one of the fantastic four, drink water and don't do anything that involves losing an appendage. Talking to you, D.I.Y.ers.
- If the asphalt/concrete is hot to you, it's probably hot to your pet's paws too. Don't make Rufus tap dance for hours.
- As one kiddo quoted, "Dobby is free elf now", the kids are out of school for summer.. pay attention when driving!

Congratulations to the Edinburg Wild Cats Class of 2026! As you exit that school for the last time tonight as students, take a minute and take it all in - you might not miss everything, but man, will you miss the small things. The world just opened up even further for you! We are so proud of you all. Enjoy your limitless possibilities in life! 🎉

Thank you, Edinburg students, staff, and everyone who helped out for letting us hang out for prom/after prom. You all looked wonderful and we hope you had a great time! We sure did between henna tattoos, spicy cheese sauce (if you know, you know 😂), and all the games.

Would ya look at that?
Second year in a row we've caught the double rainbow! Hopefully everyone stayed safe out there... and mostly dry.

Reminder - when it's raining, have your headlights on and be mindful of hydroplaning. Check those windshield wipers, you don't want them hanging on by a thread when Illinois decides it needs a shower.

Went for lemonade on Washington St... left with lemonade AND cookies. Great salesman, these guys. The lemonade was delicious, by the way.

With garage sales, please be cautious of all the foot and vehicle traffic. Pay attention to the traffic signs. Enjoy your garage sale hunting, Edinburg!

So it seems we have an "artist" in town. There are several spots on the roads that have been spray painted in red lettering proclaiming their love for someone with the initials "MLL". Plot twist: if you really loved them, the NORMAL, not creepy, thing to do is to bring them flowers or go on a date... not vandalism ... just throwing that out there.

If anyone saw anything suspicious, maybe saw something on social media relating to, or knows anything, give us a ring 😉

Attention Edinburg,
Your Wild Cats E-Sports team won state and we will be escorting them back to the school to celebrate. If you would like to be outside to make some noise, get ready!

We will be coming down Wildcat Way, turning down Washington in front of Edmo's, and then going up Eaton to the school. ETA for start time 3:30pm today.
