🕊️ HEAR HER: A MOTHER’S BATTLE CRY FOR JUSTICE FOR LATWO
A YEAR WITHOUT LATWON—A LIFETIME OF LOVE 🕊️
On September 6, we speak the name of Latwon Oscar Uribe and stand beside his family on the first anniversary of his passing.
Latwon was born September 24, 2008. His life ended September 6, 2025, just days before his 17th birthday. He was only 16—a beloved son and grandson with dreams, a story, and a future that mattered.
Today, our hearts are especially with Latwon’s mother, Grandma Yvonne, and his grandfather. For them, one year is not a finish line. Grief does not follow a calendar, and love does not end when someone dies. Every memory, birthday, holiday, and quiet moment carries the presence of the young man they love and deeply miss.
Latwon must always be remembered for the life he lived—not only for the tragedy that took him. His smile mattered. His dreams mattered. His place within his family mattered. His name will continue to be spoken with love.
Our community can help carry his memory forward. Please leave a candle 🕯️, a blue heart 💙, or a message of strength for his family. If you knew Latwon, share one memory or something special you want others to remember about him.
Will you stand with his mother, Grandma Yvonne, and his grandfather today?
Say his name: Latwon Oscar Uribe.
Forever 16. Forever loved. Forever remembered. Never forgotten.
