Camp Atterbury Wounded Hero Hunt This is a hunt that is for Wounded Heroes. This is a hunt that costs nothing thanks to different companies & organizations who cover 100% of the costs.

These hunts are at Camp Atterbury located just west of Edinburgh, Indiana. These hunts happen in the Spring and Fall. It gives vets and current military members a relaxing week to unwind.

We were very saddened to have had to cancel our 2022 Turkey Hunt. With that being said we are hard at work preparing for the Deer hunt in the fall. If you are interested in attending please send the page a message so that we can get you an application.

This program takes wounded veterans on an all inclusive whitetail deer or turkey hunt. To be eligible the veteran must have a purple heart, or as slots allow 100% service connected disability. They are responsible for transportation to and from Camp Atterbury and everything else is covered. We had a very successful hunt. We harvested 10 mature gobblers and had many more encounters. I would like to thank our Wounded Hero Hunt staff and guides for all of your hard work as well as our sponsors and donations.
