As communities come together for prayer, share meals with loved ones, and give to those in need, we are reminded of the beauty of faith, compassion, and the strength found in togetherness.�

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness are the reason we are able to gather with our loved ones, enjoy our freedoms, and build the communities we call home.

Today is more than a holiday it is a reminder of the debt we owe to those who never came home, and to the families who carry that loss every single day. From all of us in Middlesex County, we are grateful, we remember, and we will never forget.

Happy World Bee Day! 🐝🌻 Bees help power our food supply and keep our local ecosystems healthy — and here in Middlesex County, we take that responsibility seriously.

Our County Commissioners have been hard at work creating conditions where bees and other pollinators can thrive:

🌿 Over 13,000 acres of open space and farmland preserved
🌿 35 Conservation Areas and Preserves maintained for habitat protection
🌿 39,000+ solar panels and LED retrofits invested in to cut carbon emissions and support sustainable practices
🌿 Pollinator-friendly parks, gardens, and greenways promoted across all 25 municipalities

A healthy county means a healthy environment for every living thing in it. Middlesex County is committed to keeping it that way. 💙

It's official! Our Middlesex County Democratic candidates have filed for re-election in the June 2026 Democratic Primary.
Surrogate Claribel Cortes and County Commissioners Charles Tomaro and Leslie Koppel are ready to keep fighting for the families and communities of Middlesex County. These proven leaders aren't slowing down they're more energized than ever to stand up for the residents of our 25 towns.

Surrogate Cortes has been a trusted advocate for Middlesex County families, ensuring the Surrogate's Office operates with integrity and compassion. She is committed to continuing that work and making sure every resident has access to the services they need.
