Middlesex County Democratic Organization MCDO has earned a great record of success in helping to elect Democrats at all levels of gov't.

The Middlesex County Democratic Organization is governed by the elected Committeemen and Committeewomen who are accountable to the registered Democratic voters of the county. Those Committee members elect a Chair each year, and other officers. In turn a salaried Executive Director and other officials are appointed by the Chair. The Organization has adopted, and periodically reviews, a Constitution and By-Laws. It is said that, "Candidates make speeches but organizations win elections." This is certainly true in Middlesex County where our organization has earned a great record of success in helping to elect public officials at the federal, state, county and local levels. The strength of any organization is reflected in the strength of its volunteers. Speaker Coughlin recently announced a proposal to provide free school breakfast to every public school student across New Jersey, regardless of household income.

Access to a nutritious school breakfast helps remove barriers for New Jersey families and ensure students have the support they need to learn, grow, and succeed throughout the school day.

Can't make it to the polls on Election Day? No problem! Early voting kicks off Saturday, October 24, giving you nine days to make your voice heard before November 3!

From major milestones to election day outreach, our Middlesex County leaders are always showing up for our communities!

Over the past two weeks, our elected officials celebrated the grand opening of New Brunswick’s Helix, helped kick off the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO) and Hotel and Gaming Trades Council (HTC) canvass launches, and joined our residents for canvassing across South Amboy!

We are grateful for their continued dedication to supporting our Middlesex County communities and look forward to what they get up to next week! 👏

This is what accountability looks like.

New Jersey will receive more than $24 million through environmental settlements, including $19.5 million from Hess over pollution tied to its former refinery in Woodbridge. This news comes as Middlesex County is taking its own action to hold major oil companies accountable for the costs of climate and storm related damage to our communities.

Middlesex County recently filed its own lawsuit seeking to hold major oil companies accountable for climate-related damages. We applaud the Middlesex County Board of County Commissioners for standing up for taxpayers and sending a clear message: the costs of environmental damage shouldn’t fall on residents.
