Heads up beachgoers! While it will be nice and sunny tomorrow, albeit a bit breezy, there is a high risk of rip currents expected. The surf zone is expected to be dangerous, therefore residents and visitors are strongly urged to stay out of the surf!

REMINDER: 174 from Jane Edwards School to Oak Island Rd will be CLOSED for about an hour today 4/26 starting at 2:00pm. If you’re leaving from or coming to the beach, plan your timing accordingly. There are NO detours. This is a permitted event and Charleston Cty Deputies will be on hand to monitor the traffic. If you’re passing through after the parade, please use caution as there will be pedestrians crossing the road.
