This is it. The last breakfast for this season. Come on over to the Edmeston Fire Department this Sunday between 7:00 and 10:30. We will be serving up the eggs, home fries, bacon, sausage, pancakes, and French toast. Then we will be off for the summer.

April is here, but WAIT - Breakfast is NEXT WEEKEND, April 12th. We are not going to compete with Easter! This month we are pushing our donation breakfast to the 2nd Sunday. So we will see everyone next weekend, April 12th, from 7-10:30am.

February is almost here, and we are starting it off right. This Sunday is our monthly donation breakfast at the Edmeston Fire Department. Come and warm up with a hot breakfast, some hot coffee, and friends! We hope to see you there. Sunday 2/1 from 7:00-10:30.

Sheriff Richard J. Devlin, Jr. has issued a No Unnecessary Travel Advisory.

Otsego County Sheriff Richard J. Devlin, Jr. has issued a No Unnecessary Travel Advisory for all of Otsego County, effective immediately, due to inclement weather conditions expected to persist for the next 18–20 hours.
Sheriff Devlin, in coordination with Otsego County Emergency Management, is closely monitoring weather and road conditions and will update this advisory as conditions change.
No Unnecessary Travel: Means that hazardous driving conditions do exist, and no unnecessary travel should take place. Matter of individual's judgment. Out of an abundance of caution, residents are strongly urged to remain off roadways, allow plow crews to operate safely and efficiently, and avoid placing themselves or first responders at risk.
The winter storm is forecast to bring heavy snowfall, high winds, and extremely low temperatures, creating hazardous travel conditions, slowing snow removal efforts, and impacting emergency response.

Welcome to 2026, and welcome to the first weekend in January. If you're like me, a holiday in the middle of the week makes it hard to remember which day it is. But we are 2 days away from Sunday, and this Sunday is the January donation breakfast at EFD!! We hope to see you Sunday morning!
