If you meet the following basic criteria to become a foster parent in Oklahoma, we would love to connect you with one of our Pre-Certification Coordinators today to further discuss how Angels can support you on your fostering journey:

• At least 21 years of age
• Ability to manage household finances without foster care reimbursement
• Complete and pass criminal & child welfare background checks
• Have a working vehicle and sufficient space
• Provide references
• Comply with DHS rules and policy
• Have healthy relationships, whether single, married, or divorced

Today kicks off National Social Work month, so it's only right we honor the incredible work of our case workers!
This year's national social work theme is "Uplift. Defend. Transform." Angels' case workers are experts in all three areas. From the conversations they have with foster families to the way they advocate for kids in care, our case workers exemplify these values daily!

Social work requires compassion, resilience, and dedication, qualities all of our case workers embody. We may be biased, but there is no one better equipped to support you on your foster care journey than an Angels' case worker. For those of you who know this to be true, give a shout out in the comments to a case worker who has positively impacted your life✨
